I am running for school board in Albany, California. I have two children in Albany schools, one in Ocean View and one in Albany Middle School.

For the past 8 years, I have been active in Albany schools, including serving on the Ocean View PTA Board, as the communications coordinator and parent education coordinator for Ocean View, as a member of the Ocean View Site Council, on the steering committee for Measure LL, and on many task forces and committees over the years. I also co-founded Albany Community Action, a group that was instrumental in developing Albany’s  sanctuary city resolution and AUSD’s safe haven policy.

I have been endorsed by the Albany Democratic Club, the Albany Teachers Association and the Alameda County Democrats. You can read more about me.

The Albany Teachers’ Choice

I am honored to be endorsed by the Albany Teachers along with two great candidates – Brian Doss and Clementina Durón – who will bring much-needed vision, diversity, experience, and leadership to Albany’s school board. Together we can rebuild trust between the board, teachers, staff, and parents and bring strong governance and collaboration to Albany at a time of budget uncertainty.

It’s time to VOTE!

  • Thank you to everyone for supporting my campaign – it’s now time to vote and to tell your neighbors why school board leadership is so important!
